Sept. 7 – so long Boston

We ate, socialized and explored in this beautiful old city.  The USS Constitution was a a short walk away and we heard the canons at 8am and pm.  She’s the world’s oldest commissioned warship still afloat.

The Isabella Gardner museum was spectacular with it’s Venitian garden (and great food).

Then there was fireworks for the holiday outside the marina

And of course the food.  North End was a short walk for pizza and we had our first taste of Afghani food that was delicious.

Thanks Caroline and Paul for a great dinner and also Harriet for a yummy homemade Greek dinner.
