July 4 – Injalak Hill art sites in Arnhem Land

On our way up to see the rock art paintings we saw two black walaroo, sea eagles and kites fighting in the air, barramundi fish ambushing bait across a flooded road, and a dingo run across the road ( alas no photos).  After picking up our Aboriginal guide, Ezariah, we drove hours to the escarpment.  We had a picnic lunch in one of the caves and enjoyed views of Arnhem Land.
