We arrived in time for a hot shower before sitting down to watch sunset at the top of the cliff, overlooking Port Essington. Champagne was served along with beetroot dip and other nibbles. As dinner was being prepared we watched the light change from dusk to night. Over the next couple days I relaxed in the hammock outside our tent. All the walkways were lined with solar lights, there was a well-stocked library and the food was delicious.
