Oct. 15 – Luganville, Santo – back in civilization, sort of

We reluctantly lifted the anchor at 11am and motored out of Sugundu Bay.  Almost five hours later we arrived outside Luganville.  We tried to anchor at Aore Resort across the Segund Channel from Luganville, but the strong current, lateness of the day, and muddy water made it impossible to find the mooring ball that was under water.  After several attempts, we motored over to Beach Front Resort and eventually got the anchor set.

We spent the next few days dodging squalls, doing a little provisioning, meeting up with Yolo to say goodbye, and checking out with Customs.
