one more time

we are so indebted to  jack and zdenka on Kite for giving us the fix for the watermaker.   it worked.  we’re all set and ready to leave.  the positive side of all this is we met the nice folks on Kite, had a great almuerzo for $3 each, a tasty dinner and this morning our traditional send-off breakfast.  also, motoring into the harbor yesterday we got to watch the ecuadorian naval training schooner come in and set anchor.  oh, and we got a good night’s sleep finally in calm harbor waters.

can you see the people at the bow?

all those lines to keep track of

from the restaurant looking down the malecon last night

we will definitely miss watching these guys

next stop hiva oa, marquesas.
